Need housing for summer in Uptown?
What I have:
Two bedroom, one full bath plus two half baths, one covered/secured parking space, fully furnished and equipped, everything included down to wireless internet, local phone, housekeeping, towel/linen service, all utilities. I have a house near Denton as well where I live most of the time, as I teach up there (university).
Typically I keep one bedroom in Uptown for myself and lease the other. I return weekends and occasionally midweek for a night. For the record, I am 40, female, divorced. I have a tiny Chihuahua who is quiet and well-behaved and travels with me.
For the summer, I am considering leasing both bedrooms. I have done this in the past and it has worked well. If I do this, the cost is $1000/monthly for each bedroom. One person will get a slightly larger room with attached half bath. The other person gets two windows (vs. one), park views, and the parking spot.
I am also considering leasing the entire unit to one person or couple. The cost for this is $1800/month.
The final option is to lease just the one bedroom and continue to keep the other for myself - I will be in the unit part of the time and out of it part of the time. The cost for this is $1200/month.
