We're an easy-going couple looking to rent out 2 rooms in our 2900 sq foot home. The home is less than 3 years old and is in great condition in a good neighborhood.There is one other male at the home and we’re all in our mid+ 20’s.
Descriptions of the rooms are as follows:
$475: 12.5 x 12.5 unfurnished room with walk-in closet.
$525: 12.5' x 11.5' FURNISHED room (see picture below), queen pillow-top bed, cherry wood dresser, good sized closet.
The two rooms are upstairs and will share one full bath. There’s also a half bath downstairs.
Other features include:
3 large common areas
Access to washer and dryer
Shared kitchen and dining area (pictures below)
6 MB DSL wireless internet throughout house
Backyard with propane barbecue
Paid utilities
Hundreds of movies available to view
For a comfortable, warm home we expect the following:
Respect the house (i.e., take care of it)
Respect other residents and their property
Responsible (i.e., have rent on time)
Take care of your own food needs
No smoking, excessive drinking, or drugs
Clean up after yourself, especially in common areas
Little drama
No pets
Not too noisy
No wild parties (smaller social gatherings are acceptable, you will be responsible for your guests)
No serious criminal background
Positive attitude preferred
Rooms are NOT available on trade (e.g., house or yard work).
Candidates may need to agree to a background and housing reference check in order to be eligible.
Terms will be month to month, each month paid in advance. There is a security deposit of $150, of which $100 is refundable. (This is to cover wear and tear like touchup paint, carpet cleaning, etc.)
If you're a professional who travels a fair amount of the time, we are willing to give you a reduced rate depending on how much you are out of town. Couples who want just one room are welcome, slight monthly fee to cover utilities for second person.
