Description of Position:
This individual will assist in the technical operation, maintenance and development of software applications, with an emphasis on various financial models. The position entails developing, modifying and testing new and existing applications for increasing business requirements, upgrade purposes, and performance enhancements. Part of the responsibilities will involve collaborating with a senior developer and the user community to gather requirements, design solutions, and provide technical documentation. Other duties include working with the user community to troubleshoot and resolve day-to-day technical operational issues.
Requirements:
* Minimum 3+ years of hands on development experience.
* Bachelor's Degree Required - degree in Computer Science/Information Systems is preferred.
* Knowledge with database data-modeling, design principles, and work flow processing.
* Microsoft SQL 2000/2005 development skills: stored procedures, triggers, scripts, DTS or SSIS.
* Able to work successfully in a fast paced, high energy environment.
* Understanding of Object Oriented Design concepts
* Must possess strong analytical, problem solving, communication skills, and work productively in both a team and/or independent environment.
* Previous projects developed for accounting/financial industry is a plus
* A career path demonstrating increased responsibility.
