The Account Planning Executive position will be responsible for providing account planning and direction to designated clients in“subscription-based” and telecom/DBS verticals. It is a strategic position that leverages specific client or agency industry experience, knowledge of company services and capabilities, as well as project supervision and client management. The Account Planning Executive position encompasses a wide skill set that includes the following roles and responsibilities: Pivotal in the upfront planning process with prospects and clients to ensure engagements are most effectively utilizing company services. Brings category expertise in the area of “subscription based” and telecom/DBS industries. Acts as the center of collaboration and provides coordination with designated members of Sales, Creative, Media, Research, Technology, and Data to deliver company recommendations for integrated marketing services. Possesses the ability to develop business strategy, concepts, brand development and other areas, as determined by client need. Actively is involved with annual planning for designated clients in the areas of creative analysis, consumer insights, strategy, creative and technology. Collaborates with the National Director of Account Planning and Strategy, as well as with other platform leaders on key decisions and direction, including the output and creative recommendation. Accountable for the business strategy, which is the underpinning of all recommendations to clients. Responsible for presenting relevant and actionable insights, as well as industry supporting analytics to designated businesses and assignments. Works independently, as well as with the team leaders to fulfill client marketing and advertising objectives. PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES: The Account Planning Executive is responsible for the following: -Client Engagement and Presentations -Client Development and Account Growth -Business Development/ Top-Line Contribution -Thought Leadership -Personal Development POSITION REQUIREMENTS: The Account Planning Executive is required to: •Understand industry and client-specific business objectives and needs •Work with account and sales management staff to coordinates and execute on-going marketing programs and campaigns •Evaluate and present results of executed marketing programs to client and internally •Develop a strong personal base of knowledge with respect to decision management technology, industry practices, trends and issues •Create tactical imperatives for an accounts overall strategy and development •Personal characteristics – excellent presenter, command attention, passionate, high credibility •Extensive Knowledge of the print (all forms), media, technology, interactive industries as they apply to integrated marketing and advertising •Ability to Identify opportunities for revenue expansion within assigned client base •Where appropriate, accept overall accountability for the customer relationship and carrying out the strategic vision •Develop marketing strategy for project engagements and instruct team members with respect to project deliverables •Responsible for client satisfaction, including quality assurance and review of proposal strategy •Provide strategic leadership by driving the preparation of strategic, creative, and positioning recommendations for client campaigns PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to perform the essential duties and responsibilities of the position successfully.
