EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT WITH ACCOUNTING AND FINANCE EXPERIENCE POSITION SUMMARY The Executive Assistant performs secretarial and administrative duties for Partners and Managers in the Business Advisory Services, Economic Advisory services and Marketing practices. Work requires some analysis and use of initiative and independent judgment with frequent access to confidential and highly complex information. Demonstrates excellent communication skills through frequent interaction with internal/external management personnel at all levels. Requires a minimum of 3 years of progressively responsible administrative experience. Individual is extremely professional, organized, thorough and detail-oriented. Essential duties and responsibilities: Support Economic and Business Advisory Service Practices: # Prepares Engagement Letters # Distributes incoming departmental mail, handle confidential matters as needed # Prepares Management reports # Client acceptance point of contact # Coordinates training sessions and department events # Administrative support as needed (correspondence, typing, reporting, filing, etc.) # Special Projects # Backup to reception Support Marketing: # Execute mailings # Maintain sales database # Update pipeline/reports # Filing # Distribute collateral packages # Maintain collateral/giveaway supply # Assist in event planning # Printing and binding of proposals # Prepare letters/follow-up with prospects # Prepare new client welcome kits Grant Thornton offers outstanding opportunities for growth.
