Key Responsibilities: Audit various types of employee benefit plans, including defined contribution, defined benefit and health & welfare plans. Plan, direct, and supervise multiple employee benefit plan audits (11-K and non 11-K filers) in both public and private companies in a variety of industries. Identify and implement new pronouncements to client situations Supervise and train managers, seniors, and associate staff Review complex financial statements and disclosures as well as documentation of validated, tested and assessed various control systems Build client relationships, business development and marketing Engagement profitability including billings and collections Qualifications: Master of Accountancy preferred; Four-year degree in Accounting required CPA 8+ years prior work experience (pref. in public accounting firm) Diversified employee benefits experience is required Significant supervisory experience required Multiple Industry experiences a plus (public and private) Relocation assistance provided for this opportunity. *Please note that we are interested in Big 4 or large regional firm PUBLIC Auditing candidates only.
