General Description: The incumbent will be responsible for creating, supporting, modifying and maintaining moderately complex data warehousing and decision support systems and programs and project documentation; performing complicated business analysis, systems design, systems administration tasks, and/or programming; interacting with U.S. finance, sales, marketing, and other internal business organizations and outside organizations, representing work group to resolve system and project technical issues; creating and developing process and procedures documentation for relevant systems, tools, and platforms; and working as a leader and/or member of project teams, providing expertise on customer systems and processes.
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Math or equivalent technical training with two to four years with information systems analysis, design, project management, development, implementation and maintenance across multiple hardware/software platforms; Knowledge and experience with GUI development tools, relational database mgt. systems, office productivity software, multi-tiered application development, and structured and/or object-oriented programming techniques; ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences with strong interpersonal, oral communication and presentation skills; ability to accomplish complex technical investigation, design, programming and troubleshooting tasks with minimal supervision. Required skills include detailed knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server 2000 and/or 2005 and DTS/SSIS; working detailed knowledge of data warehousing star-schema design; standard Microsoft Office applications and internet web browser; knowledge of standard automated business processes; strong interpersonal skills; ability to coordinate actions with supervisor and technical support offices.
Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or Math with three or more years in information systems analysis, design, project management, development, implementation and maintenance across multiple hardware and software platforms; specific experience with ETL software tools; Additional preferred qualifications include working knowledge of Cognos 8 modeling/reporting; Essbase OLAP development; Cognos OLAP development; Project Management.
