Job Description This intern will work in the HR department assisting in the overall implementation of a new LCMS (Learning Content Management System), and will report directly to the Training Content Designer.They will gather existing training content from all departments, organize, format, and publish that content onto the LCMS.Additionally, the intern will have the opportunity to create new training material for non-existing disciplines. Most of the work will be done using PowerPoint, Flash, and Skillsoft (the LCMS).Training will be provided on how to use the LCMS (and should easily be manageable for any business student).Proficiency in ALL aspects of PowerPoint is a must.Skills in Flash are not mandatory, though some sort of design background (i.e. Flash, InDesign, PhotoShop) would be preferred. In a company this size that has so many intricate machines and systems, this type of online training could streamline the company in a major way.Needless to say, this is not your typical internship.This project is highly visible to the President and is overseen by the HR Director.We are looking for a self-starting superstar or superstars that are innovative, creative, design minded, ambitious and forward thinking. Time Requirements This position is a part-time internship (20-25 hours per week) with a flexible schedule.An intern seeking college credit is preferred but not required.The position will begin the last week in may and the length will be 8-12 weeks depending on the intern's availability.
