Internal Auditor

Reports to:Director of Internal Audit
Compensation:Commensurate with experience
Job Description
•Perform financial and operational audits
•Prepare audit reports
•Identify control deficiencies and make recommendations for improving operations
Required Qualifications
Knowledge of:Generally accepted accounting principles; theories of financial reporting and internal control; auditing standards, practices and techniques.Familiarity with computer applications used in accounting and auditing.
Education:Bachelor’s degree in accounting from an American university.Certified Public Accountant or currently qualified to sit for the CPA exam as a Texas CPA candidate.
Experience:Two to four years of experience in accounting or auditing.
Other requirements:Advanced verbal and written communication skills.
