Our Municipal Services Program is a fast-growing, challenging, exciting, and fun environment. As a member of the Ft. Worth Municipal program, we are seeking self-starter candidates with an entrepreneurial drive, good communications skills, enjoy working with people, and seek to make others successful. Specific expectations of this position include:
Performs complex assignments exercising judgment in evaluation, selection, and modification or standard engineering techniques and procedures. Fully experienced, competent engineer. May make decisions on significant design and engineering procedures. May function as technical specialist or project manager on mid-size projects but project management is not sole focus of position. May supervise small staff of professionals and technicians.
Requirements:
Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering.
Current Texas PE or ability to obtain license within 6 months of hiring date.
5+ years general civil design experience with emphasis on municipal paving/drainage/utility projects
Strong technical background in roadway and storm drainage (open and closed systems) required.
Current working knowledge of Microstation and Geopak.
Strong verbal and written skills are required
