Amen these people are just way over the top.I tried to tell people not long ago that if he were truly a criminal that he sure as hell would not be volunteering his time to his community because real criminals are SELFISH and think only of themselfs.In Cal.they actually have a fire fighting team from the prison that is dispatched to wild fires so far no problem there.I too have extinsive fire fighting capabilities that I learned in the 10 years that I was in the Navy.But I unfortunantly have a felony conviction that prevents me from joining my local east Texas volunteer fire Department I know some of the guys on there and I have far more education and experiance than most of the young guys on the force.I would love to serve my community but they dont want me so when I drive by and see their property burning I will just keep driving.
