I know this is a long shot, but here goes. I am looking for a band that wants to do some original music with hard rock/ spacey / art rock influenced work. I don't really want to do ancient cover tunes, and the new stuff doesn't do much for me either. I would like to just get together for fun and jam and practice and write tunes at first, then eventually see about gigging for actual US money if we get that far. I don't want to quit my day job, just do this a few times per month.
It would also be good if I could leave my drums set up at the practice location.
Anyway, let me know if you might have any interest. I can be flexible on a lot of this, but no country, and no rap crap. I just love playing and want to have some fun. Oh, I forgot, I turn 50 this year, it would be cool if you are near my age, but not required.
